a controversial rule that would give green energy company's 30- year permits to kill bald and golden eagles in the country without penalty. hundreds of thousands of birds are not killed every year after flying into large wind turbine blades and other obstacles. the industry claims only 2 percent of the eagles are killed by those wind turbines. a federal study recently found wind farms killed at least 85 gold nine bald eagles from 1997 until 2012. why am i telling you about this? because i care about this a lot. this angers me to think about what we're doing in this country. the white house is now reportedly completing a review of the rule. final details are not known. the rule could still be tweaked, as they put it, but significant changes are rare at this stage in the process. so call your congressman. call your senator, call the president. senator elizabeth warren says she does not want to be president, stepping out of hillary clinton's way for a run possibly in 2016. declaring she will complete her senate term which ends in 2018. my next guest says president obama certainly had nothing t

in places like the eagle ford shale, permian basin. it's a great place to start a new business. very business friendly. no wonder that tcbi has rallied 23% in the past few years. operating in austin, dallas, ft. worth, houston, san antonio, which also does personal banking for wealthy professionals and entrepreneurs and they have a lending business as well. and that's where tcbi lends money to other banks so they can in turn originate mortgages. when the company reported back in october, tcbi missed off 77 cent basis. but the underlying metrics were so strong, people saw through that. growing 10% year-over-year. total deposits up 33%, pretty staggering, stock jumped 12.4% the next day. bank's on fire. let's check in with george jones. he's the ceo of capital bank shares, learn more about where the company's headed. mr. jones, welcome to "mad money." how are you, sir? great to see you, sir. have a seat. how do you grow organically that kind of deposit base. is that because the economy really is booming down there? >> well, we're fortunate to be in texas for one thing, obviously. but i

at hong kong. look at the different areas. we have american eagle outfitters lowering its forecast. thought theye would see declines, but they are not. area up byr goods 0.6%. personal goods, you can see from this, two stocks are rising. even though american outfitters have downgraded their forecast, li and fung seeing gains at the moment. that is one of the areas seeing performance. the nikkei in japan, also green. that is down to largely the yen. look at that. , telecom aboute 2.5%. services up by 3.2%. you can see the computer -- tech equipment is rising 1.6%. the reason for that is this yen weakness. at that. it really has weakened significantly. it was 100 a few days ago. now it is 103. there could be issues about yen depreciation. the likes of china, south korea won't be happy with that. >> breaking news out of sri lanka. the central bank keeping interest rates on hold at 6.5%. we will be talking to the central bank governor and a couple of hours. the thai prime minister is to dissolve parliament. this as antigovernment protesters returned to the streets. from locke -- prime

about some of those eagle eyed investors now watching what the dollar trade is. traderers were saying we were trapped in the range for most of the week. and the focus and direction will come today when that hits the tape. so far, we are seeing a drift off that euro/dollar trade. perhaps this shows us the direction of sentiment already because it was a very strong pop yesterday on the euro after mario draghi continued to juggle those policy tools out there. so 1.3669 for the dollar/yen rate. 103 was the level. 102 is the handle right now. we had the autumn statement by the chancellor yesterday showing us the momentum really is behind growth here. so we are holding currently, but this may all change as we get that jobs print coming out stronger than expected. the australian dollar has been under enormous pressure. 90.5 is the level we're seeing on the boards. back to you in the studio. >>> coming up, becky isn't the only one who fears the iphone's wax of the keyboard. could ryan seacrest have a solution for her? we'll find out unbelievable. he's nfl, he's "american idol," he's doing that g

lots, american eagle, five below, below consensus. and you can see what's going on four retail. this is what the stocks have been doing this week. so it's been a very, very ugly week for certain retailers out there. let's look at where we stand in terms of the economy. good numbers on the jobs report. q3 gdp was better than expected. some of it was inventory building. auto sales were pretty good. highest in six years. home sales in october best since 2008. the ism manufacturing is the best in two years and cyber monday up 20%. but there are balancing issues here. ism services were a disappointment. the september home sales were disappointing and we talked about how the retail sales reports have been somewhat disappointing. all in all, guys, the bottom line is, slow improvement in the economy offset by some disappointments, like what's going on in retail. enough to argue, however, slow, slow improvement and the stock market is reflecting that right now. guys, back to you. >> all right, bob, thank you so much. >>> earlier this week, we saw the first video of amazon's delivery dro
